Make-up lessons
All participants in the ICEARIUM's Learn to Skate program will be allotted 2 make-up classes per semester. Make-ups need to be completed before the last two weeks of classes.

Ice Skating Institute
All participants in the ICEARIUM's Learn to Skate program MUST be members of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI). Annual membership costs are $10.00 per skater. Class tests given at the end of the semester will be recorded and saved in the ISI database for future reference. Registration can be made at either the ICEARIUM or on-line at www.skateisi.org.

Future Enrollment
All participants currently enrolled with the ICEARIUM's Learn to Skate program are required to wait until the last week of classes before enrolling in a future semester. An instructor will need to test and evaluate all skaters before allowing them to advance to a higher level. Places in classes will not be held for any skater. Only skaters who have registered, paid and have passed the appropriate test (when the rule applies) will be added to a roster.

Information
Classes will be limited to (10) students per class according to level and age. Classes will be combined or cancelled if less than (3) students enroll in a particular class. First time participants may enroll by visiting us in person, or by calling the Director of Figure Skating at (865) 218-4500 x 106. Currently enrolled students must wait until the last week of classes before enrolling in a new semester. Skaters need to arrive at the rink 15 minutes prior to class start times and check-in at the front desk. We suggest warm clothing, preferably layered articles, gloves and helmets for first time participants.

Test Days

Tuesday classes - May 11th
Friday Home school classes - May 14th
Saturday classes - May 15th
Sunday classes - May 16th

SPECIAL NOTE: Skaters will not be allowed to "make-up" any missed classes during Pre-Test days (second to last week of classes) or Test days (last week of classes). Skaters will need to make up all missed classes prior to the last two weeks of classes. A special "Test Day" will be scheduled at the end of the semester for all skaters failing to attend the last day of classes, therefore enabling themselves to be tested. Flyers will be posted towards the end of the semester stating the test date and time. Skaters who fail to be tested during regularly scheduled class times or the make-up "Test Day" will need to make arrangements on their own with one of the ICEARIUM instructors for testing purposes. Instructor brochures are located at the INFORMATION CENTER. Booster lessons can be scheduled with any of the ICEARIUM instructors. Please contact them personally and set up a time that suits both of your schedules.
